The service life of a soldering tip is significantly determined by the degree of oxidation. With an oxidized soldering tip the solder will only be brought into flux and/or wetted with difficulty or in the worst case, not at all. Almit's M line prevents this problem from arising in the first place, because it almost completely prevents the soldering tip from oxidizing thanks to an innovative micro-alloyed alloy with an increased proportion of gallium. The reduction in soldering tip consumption, labor costs and solder consumption results in enormous cost savings.
