Break-off
Unlike beer, which should be able to flow continuously, the dosage of soldering tin must be made as easy as possible. This property is known as good break-off. Solder must allow easy separation, especially at surface-mounting, and must form solder dots easily. Meterability plays a major role in solder paste as well. (Jennie S. Hwang: „Solder Paste in Electronics Packaging“, S. 340. Van Nostrand, Reinhold (Eds.), published by Nihon Almit). |
