Anti-thixotropy
This term is used in reference to a solder paste and describes an increase in apparent viscosity by an increase in flow velocity. The reason for this is that rod-like or flaky particles of the solder paste assume a specific orientation by movement whereby it takes less time for the fluid to turn into gel or to solidify. |
